Uniform monthly employer report: What obligations await employers?

On 1 January 2026, a significant part of the act on uniform monthly employer report will come into effect, fundamentally changing the current system of reporting obligations for employers. Although the aim of the new legislation is to unify and simplify reporting to the state, the uniform monthly report will contain a large amount of reported data, which may cause confusion for employers.

Our colleagues prepared an overview of basic information and practical recommendations for the uniform monthly employer report, in which you will learn, among other things, what the uniform monthly report is and what it requires, what data employers are required to report, the deadlines and methods for submitting the report, what new record-keeping obligations the act introduces, and what penalties may be imposed for violating legal obligations.

At PEYTON legal, we are at your full disposal to help you prepare for the new obligations, set up internal processes, and resolve related labour and payroll issues. Please do not hesitate to contact us at any time.
